I’ve been at this game for a whole lot of time now, and even though I’ve always had the mindset of a constant beginner. I really should jot down stuff and try to organize and make sense of the magickal landscape I’ve been traveling on. In a sense, while my magickal system has always been on the freestyle side of things. Not planning things out really hurt my development as there are no congruent milestones to achieve.
Knowledge + Effort = Wisdom
I wrote about my initial goals and plans in a previous blog post and I should really buckle down and plan it.
My source of inspiration is going to be from a couple of books while the result should be something that is refreshingly me. I will be mainly pulling from books such as Initiation Into Hermetics, The Sorcerer Secrets, Strategic Sorcery course, Postmodern Magic and Oven-Ready Chaos. I will be pulling some material as well from the Hoodoo Rootwork Couse, Complete Book of Witchcraft and New Avatar Power.
I’m also planning on writing a practical workbook for magick. It will kinda look like what I ended up using for my own adventures but really a guide for someone to find their own personal style of magick. We may take the same path but the outcome could be totally different from mine. I’m not entirely sure if I will release it as a course, or just a book. Right now, I’m leaning to release it as a book.
The Eye of the Storm
2018 is going to be a busy year. Not only am I actively working on the magickal side of things, my muggle life is pretty hectic as well. Making some moves in 2018, the motto is Just Do It! I hope everyone had a safe 2017/2018 transition and see y’all on the flip side. 🙂
